How to convert mpeg file to mov file?

I use Pinnacle Studio Plus and render normally in mpeg 1, 2...I need to convert the final mpeg video project to mov. What's the best way to do this?

I use a PC too. Apple are the people behind the MOV container so they should know how to create them. Note that there are many codecs that work with the MOV container, so you have to specify the codec too (or someone has to specify it for you)

ok, thanks for the help.

I have a video I have to complete and send to the client as .mov. (high resolution Quicktime/FCP file) This is the first I have had to work with a mov file.

Best,
Lisa

You could try MPEG Streamclip. It's a free converter/player/editor for both Mac and Windows platforms.
