Software for Converting

Hey everyone, I'm using FCP to do my editing, when I'm done I export to a Quicltime mov. But I need a software that will convert Ouicktime movies to: MPEG2, MPEG4, MP4, Windows formats? What software are you all using that does multiple conversions? I want to do YouTube stuff but I would like for it to be the best quality I can make it, what are you all using. Thanks. Something on a budget is perfect. :)

For youtube use Compressor H264. 320X240. They blow it up a little, but you can push a button on the bottom right to see it actual size. That is the best that you are going to be able to see youtube

QT7 compatible>H.264 800 kbps

I think it is an over kill but H.264 is so efficient that I rather over do it.

Hey I got everything to work with the MPEG streamclip. Now I have another question. I'm trying to ad my friends video to a Final Cut Pro session, but he only has a AVI of his video. I've already did his interview and have that placed in FCP, but now I need to add his music video at the end of my program. But it's in AVI, how can I convert this or get it into FCP? Thank you.
