Optimal YouTube/ Sorenson Squeeze/ Avid Xpress Pro Settings??
Hello All,
I have noticed on YouTube that the range of quality is significantly different... I'm not talking about webcams vs. SD or HD video as the original source... I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing some settings that have worked for them. I am cutting on Avid Xpress PRO and using Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 to compress. Anyone have any suggestions to maximize my uploaded video quality? Much appreciated!!! Thanks! |

Whatever you use, its probably not going to look great as you'll probably be uploading a very compressed file and then they'll transcode it again to an even lower bitrate.
I believe they have a 100MB or 10 min limit on all videos? Just see what the highest bitrate is that you can cram into those limitations. For example, if your video is 2 mins you can probably upload a much higher res version than if your movie is 10 mins. Hope that helps. |
