Not just Mac Pros--forgot to add that; apparently more than just that!

Then again...

Might be a semi-typo. When the dual dual-core PM G5 came out, they called it a quad-core. That might be what they're saying here, a dual-dualie.

SMP Quad Core systems have to be the worst kept secret from Apple yet. The Apple UK sight made a blurb about it a couple of weeks ago and now this. Just announce the suckers at NAB and let the pre-orders commence.

Oh yeah and announce Leopard too. I'm sick of waiting.

I like when they make mistakes--like when, briefly in June 2003 before the WWDC, Apple's page on Power Mac G4s said G5, and Steve admitted it was a mistake and was true. Awesome show that day!

But if it wasn't, that would be a good system to Develop for Playstation 3 on.

Well, IBM traded G5s for PS3s, Xbox 360s and Ninteno Wiis. I'd say IBM is the only winner in the whole gaming platform wars!

I believe that Silervado Systems Inc in California, is already taking pre-order for the 8 Core Mac Pros and have even started a priority list for those who want to order, ahead of NAB.

I didn't see it listed there, but they're already talking about renting the RED. I'm posting that up in the RED forum.
