Fanciful. Of course the big issue with splitting up facilities would be apportioning lenses and accessories, since many are shared between the digital and film divisions.

Honestly, I didn't think Panavision was in good enough financial shape to acquire anyone right now, but I guess an infusion came from somewhere.

When I was working at William F. White we also had Panavision and Cinequip under our roof. I got to go over there and ogle at all their cool digital gear. The decked out HVX200s were sooooo fine. $350 a day too; $350 CAD.
