So have all the cameras been released at NAB?

Since I'm not there at NAB, and my wife doesn't seem like next year we'll go, I have to rely on net releases.

Have all the cameras been released that are going to be released at NAB?

If so, I'll need to finalize my May/June shopping cart.

As I recall, canon waited tot he last day to anouce the XLHD. I'd be shocked if they don't anounce a GLHD this year, as they don't have an "affordable" camera in the HDV area.

Well for what it was worth, I called CANON INC.'s customer service line (I used that losely) and they gave me a political answer of, "At this time we do not have any information regarding new cameras from CANON." blah blah blah

Well, last I recall, it was in New York, at the CANON EXPO, on September 14th 2005 that the XLH1 was announced, not at NAB or at the DVExpo. And I don't recall it being a last minute announcement either, people had been speculating on these boards in anticipation of something a week or so in advance.

Never say never, I suppose. But NAB isn't traditionally when Canon announces new cameras and being here talking to the Canon reps, I really just don't get a vibe that they're biting their tongues about anything. It'll surprise the heck out of me if they do announce a camera this week.

And they don't do vaporware, either. When the camera's ready to ship, they announce it.
