.WMV plugin for QT
Microsoft and Flip4Mac have conspired and given Mac users a supported plugin (by MS) to allow WMVs to play in QuickTime.
MS Download of Windows Media Components for QuickTime Footnotes for the D/L page, "optimized for High-Definition playback", requires QT 6.5 or higher and Mac OSX 10.3.9 or later. Since it says "components", it should support wma and probably asf. Also at the bottom of the link is WMP9 for Mac. |

It's awesome, I use it all the time now! Besides, WMV isn't for Macs anymore; and if you want to create WMVs, go here:
http://flip4mac.com/ It costs a little bit of money, but not too bad. $29. The HD one is almost $200, though...Might be worth it if you're producing HD content for both Macs and PCs. heath
