Re: Canon EOS C70
No RAW, and EF mount only with an adapter. I'm curious what the downsides of getting this camera and using EF lenses with it would be.

Re: Canon EOS C70
No raw: I find this to be a surprising omission. Is this something that can be cured with an update?

Re: Canon EOS C70
Update: It has internal raw recording now, and paired with an EF speedbooster, is a monster of a camera.

Re: Canon EOS C70
I purchased a C70 two weeks and love this camera.
I have been using Sony cameras for the past 20yrs with a a brief purchase along the way with some Canon cameras however always stayed with Sony. A few months ago I sold all of my gear for a camera reset. When It came time to purchase again I was not even aware that Canon released the C70 in 2020 so after a bit of research I purchased the C70 and loving the image out off this thing plus 4 x audio channels plus...I'm lucky that they have been producing firmware updates and now the camera is a fantastic tool for my productions that I work on. I also wanted a small camera that could be striped down for a gimbal or kitted out with an extra monitor etc. |
