50% off Blackmagic Video Assist HD & 4K
Just had a heads up email about this flash sale from two UK different suppliers I've bought from before.
There's one less Video Assist 4K available now. :-) https://cvp.com/index.php?t=product/...d_video_assist |

The specs and price are nice but the reviews are very bad have you read them?

Yes.
"Mixed" I would say rather than "very bad", however I'll soon know if it's unstable, gives up before 60 minutes and the rest. As I won't be using it for 4K it should be OK for the price. At least I should be able to see to focus properly in HD again. If it doesn't work at all, it will go right back. :-) |

Tempting, but I do a lot of 4K and I've heard too many bad things about these units to put my trust and money in it. There's always good reason for great deals, not all of them that are long term in our favour.

Re: 50% off Blackmagic Video Assist HD & 4K
Well, it's here and it works fine with a Canon XH-G1S via HDSDI. Having a bit of bother with some other sources via HDMI at the moment, but I've only been playing with it for an hour or so, and some of that time went on installing the 2.3.1 update.
I might continue this on another thread - this has ceased to be DV Industry News. |
