Bill Vinten passed away today
Rather sad, but for all Vinten lovers, Bill Vinten, who was in his 90s, passed away today. A real engineer, and well respected!

Re: Bill Vinten passed away today
Did he design the Vision 10? Every Vinten I've used is just wonderful.
I've seen a number of old Vinten heads on ebay go for super cheap & they're built so well that it's a steal of a deal.

Not sure but I'll pretend he did. :)
Yeah, I'd have no problem picking up a 20 year old Vinten tripod off Ebay.
