Re: Sony A7sII announced!
Is this the camera that Canon 5d mk2 users should consider? Full frame with ability to use current lenses with an adapter? It seems to me that it address what a 5d mk2 video user would want in an upgrade? 4K,. No mirror and a EVF and LCD?
Interesting food for thought when a refurbished one gets down to k price point: Edit: Just saw this thread .http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/sony-alp...ny-a7s-ii.html |

Re: Sony A7sII announced!
I'm a 6D user that went to the A7R II. It's pretty awesome. Wish I'd known the A7S II was coming out that soon though.
I love the OLED viewfinder, focus peaking, magnification during recording, in camera stabilization applied to all my lenses, and internal full frame and super 35 4k at a workable bit-rate. A great upgrade to my system. A little glitchy with metabones though and it overheats pretty quick in 4K (15-30minutes of continuous recording). Everything at this price point is going to have a compromise, but the A7S II is probably going to be an amazing camera. |
