kine 'upgraded' the blackmagic cameras
the pricing and practicality is limiting, but i seriously love that they added things that were missing to this camera.

Re: kine 'upgraded' the blackmagic cameras
Do you need to send the camera to China to have it converted? That should add quite a lot to the cost as well. It's also not clear if the auto start stop on that dr60 is only activated by the remote, guess that starting the recording directly in the camera should do the same. Also when the kine add on would malfunction, you"d need to send the camera in as well (as it looks like you can't detach it yourself), so you also need to send it to China? What if there is an issue with the camera, do you still have warranty because you can't send the camera only to bmc and will bmc re-assemble the kine add on if they need to take the camera apart without any extra costs? Lots of unanswered questions.
This just reminded me of something when I was young, I"m sure they could have added a radio module as well, that would have been cool :) http://media.hifitower.eu/XL/1000894...nic_ra1041.jpg |
