New Super 8 film camera
For those people wanting to shoot Super 8 a prototype camera has been revealed. Currently there are only 30 year old cameras available.

I love seeing projects like this and am secretly jealous they are beyond my technical abilities.
The real missing puzzle piece to keeping super8 alive (or any film) is simple/fast developing/telecine.

Great article. I hope this product really takes off for these guys. On the front regarding processing of the stock, Pro8mm in Burbank does a great job. Even giving the shooter several different ways to have the film delivered. However, on a global level I wonder about companies that still provide this service?

Good point Dylan and it would be great if they could build it into a standard arri SR or Aaton super 16 magazine.

The Super 16 digital mag has been done, but it never took off.
