Black Betty Camera
A 2k camera in a time when 4k seems to be the buzz word, but this camera will shoot, edit and post your film. It uses the same sensor as the the SI 2K.

Re: Black Betty Camera
That's the best looking camera I've seen in ages... Love it.

Re: Black Betty Camera
I half expected to see a camera like that being taken out of the wing of a Mosquito and being rushed to Bomber command. I love the retro styling! The camera specs look pretty impressive too.

Re: Black Betty Camera
I was just looking at this yesterday and thought of this thread: Aaton LTR Super 16 film camera | eBay
Really tempted to buy that just to use as an ornament as it is the main camera type we used for UK TV drama in the 80's

Re: Black Betty Camera
Aw man Brian I would love to buy it as we used to hire in Aatons for all the drama we did at Tyne Tees in the 80's but I just haven't got the cash to spare at the moment!
I did pass on the advert to a good friend in Glasgow who is a good film fan but he also has a RED epic so not sure a film camera would be used much, it is a bargain though and good luck with the sale. All our 80's Arri SR's went in the skip I think but I hope they kept or sold the prime lenses.

Re: Black Betty Camera
There's a bit of settling down as to what Super 16 can be used for, unfortunately, it's currently a bit out of fashion apart from feature films like "The Hurt Locker" and "Black Swan".

Re: Black Betty Camera
No sarcasm, I love the industrial/oldschool look.
