Avid kills Symphony

Just announced at NAB 2013. Starting this summer Symphony is no more. Media Composer 7 will have a Symphony option. This is not bad in my opinion. It changes little for the end users but it simplifies product line that's always been a source of confusion for Avid.

Re: Avid kills Symphony

Still no 1080/50p/60p in AvidMC?

Framing of higher resolution to HD is a good option but what about an aliasing filtering?

(I am on the Avid Symphony 6.5.2 .-) )
