Ikonskop B&W camera
Forget 4:2:2 or 4:2:0! Who needs it?
A-cam DII Panchromatic | Products | Ikonoskop Anyone interested in a B&W only camera? It does shoot pretty pictures, though: |

Re: Ikonskop B&W camera
If it doesn't record to [ulr=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PXL-2000]audio cassette tapes[/url], then I'm not interested. I am in desperate need of some more hipster street cred.
In all seriousness I want to know what the DR is & sensitivity. If it is something beyond the competition, then this could have some uses. Everyone has talked about how great the 5Dii is in low light, if it was monochrome would you get 3x the sensitivity? If that was the case, I'd see a reason for going B&W for some jobs.

Re: Ikonskop B&W camera
Go proper hard core and get three of them and some sort of convergence box, filters etc and do a three colour process.
So Raw it can still kick you in the face. |
