I don't know when last tested Lightworks, but there has been quite a few changes over the years.
It sounds like you used the classical Lightworks layout, which is now called the flexible layout. The default layout is the fixed layout, which can be customised to personal taste, but not on the fly as can be done with the flexible layout. In Lightworks there's usually more than one way of doing things and the same applies to how you import media. |

LWKS have released Lightworks V2025.1 (This was renamed from V2024.1 because of the late release) and is now available to download.
https://forum.lwks.com/threads/new-l...wnload.251982/ There as been a lot of under the hood changes to improve performance, expand the export options, adding further masking features and allowing the creation of your own custom effects, plus improvements to the user interface. The existing NewBlue effects bundle will continue to work with V2025.1 |
