Looks like an ideal solution for wedding & event videographers who want to carry and show a full library of demo reels, and a perfect match for the 16GB iPad. For the cost of upgrading to a 64GB iPad, this drive gives you 500GB of storage plus a WiFi hotspot. Very interesting.

The only problem with this solution is that you cannot upload to the drive from your ipad or from your cards without utilizing a computer. If you travel this could be quite problematic, because it requires to bring a laptop along, making the ipad superfluous.
For this reason alone I think Hyperdrive iPad hard drive is a better solution, although it lacks wifi.
