NEW Slate for iPhones iPads etc.

Hmmm.... That's a hell of an app for $5. In fact... it's probably usefull enough to warrent the purchase of an iPad alone. Not that I want one.

I just bought DSLR Slate for my iPod Touch. It really is very handy. It is not a true TC slate but since DSLRs don't input or output TC, who cares? It does display time of day TC, which is really all you need to sync multiple cameras.
It is a very handy for syncing multiple DSLRs though and for just knowing all of the details on a shoot. I spoke with Chris, the developer and he is waiting for Apple to approve selling the upgrade V1.1 which has even more handy features. There is another version, I forget which one, that sells for $19.99 and it looks good too but for perhaps more regular productions with non-DSLR cameras. Either of these on the iPad would be sweet, it is a little small on an iPod Touch. Dan |
