Announcing the First Annual Boston SuperMeet, June 25 2010
Final Cut Studio, Adobe, Avid editors and digital filmmakers from around the world will gather together for the First Annual Boston SuperMeet, to be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Back Bay Events Center’s John Hancock Hall in Boston MA.
Educational workshop sessions (more on that soon) will be offered during the day and filmmakers will have a chance to screen content in the “SuperMeet Digital Showcase area” featuring 20 software and hardware developers. Rodney Charters ASC, DOP of the hit TV show “24” will be a special guest and show off Canon DSLR workflow as well as footage. This will be the first ever SuperMeet held on the East Coast. Tickets are now on sale for the Earlybird price of $10.00 each and $5.00 for students. The agenda for the Boston SuperMeet is expected to be finalized about 3 weeks before the event. However, Rodney Charters ASC, DOP of the hit TV show “24” will be on hand to discuss Canon DSLR workflow as well as show footage. Autodesk will present the high-quality editorial finishing system, “Smoke for Mac OSX.” In addition there will be user driven show and tells, FCP tips and Tricks and workflow solutions and more! I'm not sure if I'll have time for this but you never know. I mean someone's got to bring their GH1 to even things up a bit.
That's a joke by the way although I may still bring it just for the heck of it. |

We highly encourage anyone and everyone to bring their camcorders, even GH1s. :-)
Seriously though, we do love folks to bring their cameras and shoot the supermeet. |
