Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
I just wanted to wish Chris, the regular posters, and everyone else on this site Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year. It's been quite an eventful and tough year for many, including myself, but I'm sure next year will be better. There are new and exciting things coming (Canon among others)that will again change the business. I, myself had to leave a company I was for about 10 years but I ended up in a much better situation. So, with that, I'm sure everyone will have a better and stronger 2010.

new for 2010
Hi Jim, What do you think is coming in 2010. I was ready to buy a canon 5D, but I keep hearing news that Nikon is replacing D700 with the D800. Full frame, 24mp, shoots video 1080p, 24p. If this is true, being a stills photographer, I would prefer this one over the 5D for it would be a stronger camera for stills. There are issues of the focusing power of the 5d in stills mode(autofocus), Besides, I have a nikon system now, and would not have to replace all my lens.
