I hope they can actually produce these things. We
will need them to be fast though. I'm thinking like 16MBps throughput because you don't want to have to spool almost a terabyte of info off the disc at a slow rate.

I think it has many layers, Blu Ray is supposed be 144 Mbps soon. The throughput should be good. Patent is about 3 years old. I read somewhere they will be producing these but I don't know when.
