Brand new PD170 replacement, the DSR-PD175

Very interesting. A brand new DVCAM camcorder that uses EXMOR CMOS chips. I'd imagine that the low light on this thing would be pretty astounding!

No it's not. This is the Z5 with the HDV capability disabled. It downconverts between chips and tape, so doesn't have the PD170's low light performance by any means. Yawn.
