Japanese version of AG-HMC40.
(AG-HMC45) Another new camera from panny to talk about.
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/panasonic...-ag-hmc40.html 1/4" sensor. I wonder if that is good enough for low light. |

Upgraded DVC30?
Hey, that looks a lot like my old AG-DVC30, but upgraded to HD.

Hi Mel -- actually that's just the Japanese market's model number for the U.S. / North American version of that camcorder which was announced earlier this year; the real news right now is that its price will be a lot lower than originally reported. Also, I replaced your off-site link with a DV Info Net link, plus I added the model number. The link you had was referring to the AG-HMC45, which is simply the Japanese market version of the HMC40 -- there's no difference between these two models except for the markets in which they're sold.
Please use DV Info Net links whenever possible; the accuracy of information we have here is superior to any other source on the web. Thanks in advance... please direct any replies to the thread that's linked in Mel's post above (and yes, Ken, basically it is a tapeless HD version of the DVC30). |
