Weather was indeed beautiful last night at the show. It is indeed smaller scale as expected but this was not a bad thing perhaps. Neither Arri nor Panavision had booths and probably quite a few others (Bill Strehl, apologies, you had asked me this a while back and I missed that post).
I'll go back this afternoon, mostly for the social aspect. Lots of out-of-work folks at the moment--we're all waiting for features to get back into full swing.

Yes, other than a bit of a traffic and parking problem, it is always great to be on the New York street part of Paramount. Lots of familiar faces, the lastest gear, everyone seems to have a 5DMKII (in the booths and in people's hands), REDs, etc. I'll be back later today also......looking for new employment opportunities.
