"XL H1S now incorporates embedded audio and Time code data"
although it is always a little annoying when they call a feature that should have been included in the first place an "upgrade".... audio limiters in the field edition is an excellent addition, but no tapeless workflow and no upgrades to the viewfinder surprise me. the poor viewfinder on this great camera has always been a downer. the A1 has a better set of focus tools than the H1.... i always really wanted to buy an H1 after i sold my XL2, but long lenses combined with that poor viewfinder seemed like more of a focusing challenge than i wanted... i do appreciate the amazing value they baked into the A1s but wish that Canon would pull out the stops on its high end cameras. |
