Wow,
I have heard good thing about jpeg 2000. I like the swappable drive approach as well if the unit is relatively small. Price will be interesting to find out. Thanks for posting. |

R3D and J2K may be not bad as acquisition wavelet codecs, but can not compete with Cineform codec, which is better for HD, 2K and 4K editing without spend many thousands of $ for hardware and software as SCRATCH:)
I'll keep money for Cineform's SOLID. |
