I just published the complete interview with the Sanyo representative. You get to see this camcorder in nice HD quality: http://techvideoblog.com/ifa/sanyo-hd1000/ and you still also have got a 300mb 1080i sample that you can download from that page.

I really like this camcorder, it looks really cool also, although I am looking for one that also can make a sub-4mbit/s VBR Mpeg4/mp3 AVI 720p internet-ready recording and that would also be able to record at the same time at full bitrate 1080p.

By the way, I filmed all my videos from the IFA 2007 using the Sanyo HD2 camcorder in the 9mbit/s 720p mode: http://techvideoblog.com/ifa/?year=2007 Those videos are all available in re-encoded DivX 720p as well as flash streaming.
