Dust Removal?
Howdy gurus,
I've shot a couple of talking head shots and have a large spot of dust in the sky of my SD video footage and have no idea how to remove it. I use AE, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, can anyone give me advice? Cheers |

Hey Tyler,
Not sure what kind of shot you got, but if its locked off I would use the clone tool in AE. You can clone a section of the sky then paint over the mark. If its a moving or a shaky shot you can add the clone tool to a motion tracker so the clone matches the movement. cheers |

If it is the odd dust spot or two, you can rotoscope in After Effects with the Paint or Clone tool feathered, but for more serious case you might like to use a plug-in like this or that.
You can start by watching this rotoscoping tutorial. |
