How to make shine effect at DVinfo.net

Hi,

i am making wedding video and i would like to make short sequence before dvd starts. There will be "first kiss" and after i want screen to get white. Can anyone give some advice how to make it in AE?

Easy: diffuse glow. Most compositing applications have such a filter. If not, you can make one yourself by blurring a duplicate of the layer and blending it in Soft Light mode, or something similar.

I tried to use in AE 6.5 effect Stylize -> Glow but i didnt find right configuration to have just white screen. It was almost white but there were some outlines which havent got white.
