Motion Blur HELP!!!!! at DVinfo.net

I dont know if anyone in here has experience with Maya being that this forum is more for 2D work then 3D but idk where else to ask this. I'm trying to get Maya to batch render a image sequence with Motion blur on the object in the scene. I'm using mental ray for my rendering. This first image is a preview image. The second image is what the final image sequence gave me.

As you can see no motion blur. This is suppose to be a fast moving bullet flying through the air but it looks like its just floating the way it is. I know there has to be something simple I'm over looking but the render globals are the same for both pictures above but one comes out wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!!
