Export avi from AE back to Prem Pro
Wondering if anyone can help with the following:
I find AE offers some advantages over PPro2, with things like photo filters. I have a clip in PPro2 that I want to go from Sepia to original colour ( Just an example ). I import the full clip into AE7 apply the photo filter and sort the keyframes. I then export an .avi using DV-PAL 25fps Best Quality. I then import the .avi into PPro2 and place it on the next video track above. When I toggle the video tracks on/off I can see the difference between original / AE7 edited clip. Now, apart from the obvious change I made ( sepia - colour ), I find the following problems. Wonder if anyone can assist? a) The overall frame brightness and contrast has changed from the original ( noticably slightly darker ) - hence when I import the clip back into PPro, it doesnt 'match' the surrounding clips, and I have to do further 'colour' correction in PPro to bring back the original 'brightness'. More processing = further 'loss' of quality. more worrying is.... b) I notice an occasional 'jitter' on the finer detail. Applying a blur is no good for my application. Also, slow pans are somewhat 'jumpy'. Can anyone offer any assistance, other than Dynamic link? Many thanks Steve
