Hey guys- since Pinnacle is no longer making-supporting Commotion, what programs would you recommend for painting over video (HDV)?

the fine cinepaint people have a version out for the mac called maccinepaint, you can get it from sourceforge.net...you'll need X11 installed to use it, but it works like a champ (if not very unixy and difficult to get the learning curve on)...but it's free!

You will find more hits if you search for "rotoscoping". Anyway, I would try something called Silhouette FX. I use AE on XP myself, but it's not reallly intended for roto.
