Should Color Correction and 24p conversion be done before of after the SFX?
I have the 3d FX artist standing by to composite the animation into my live action 60i footage. Now I'm wondering - Do I get the Color Correction before the FX are added or after. Also I'm using DV Filmmaker. I thought the FX added to 60i then converted to 24p looked more fluid. Is that the case?

If you can get the colors right at render time, then do it, but you might find it easier, less time-consuming, to merely get it close first, then do fine color correction afterwards.

Editing, effects and the like should always be done after 24p conversion. 60i to 24p should be one of the first things you do to the footage once offloaded.
