Final Cut Studio and Shake Academic?

I currently have Final Cut Studio Retail, and am also a student. Since Shake isn't getting upgraded anymore, it makes more sense for me to buy the Academic Version of 4.1 because it is only $250! I was just wondering if anyone knew if the Send To Command inside Final Cut would still work?

According to most reports on the following thread, there is NO difference between the educational version and the retail version, except for the price:

Shake Educational Pricing...?

So, yes, the Send To Command should work...

Works for me. Though to be honest, in playing around with things, I've just been exporting and then bringing it in to shake.

Are you using a Retail version of Studio and an Academic version of Shake? If so, can you try the "Send To" Command in FCP for me?
