Please Help

Hi, would anybody be able to tell me how i could make text appear from smoke, or something similar. I am making a horror film using After Effects, and i thought it would be great for the titles at the beginning.

Salam,

There are two ways to do it:
01) there is a pannel you can view by right clicking on the time line it is called DURATION, activate and put any time you want.
02) You can choose you clip then go to the layer menu and then choose TIME REMAPPING, and setup your new KEYFRAMES for the exact new timmings.
