After Effects Workflow question
I don't use AE. But I am curious about it. Since I had to upgrade Premiere to 1.5.1 to support HDV, would the same have to occur for AE?
Additionally, what is the typical workflow with AE? Assemble a rough cut first and then send it to AE for your compositing or effects stuff and then get it back into Premiere for your final cut? Thanks :)

After Effects can support any aspect from web to film. HDV is just another format. The codec on the other hand may or may not be supported on your platform. The workflow is very simple with Adobe Premiere in fact you can send your entire PP timeline to AE for effect and compositing work - then render a file to import into PP. If you are on other systems like FCP you would need to use an application like automatic duck to make the transfer from app to app as easy as possible.
