Matchmove/VFX before or after speed change
Hi,
I'm going to be working on some VFX shots where the director/editor wants a speed ramp. He's wanting to give me the shot with the speedramp and have me do the VFX work on the speed changed clip. What is the proper workflow for this? I'm thinking, based on my work in Syntheyes that it's going to be a lot easier to do the speedramp/change after I track normal speed footage. Thoughts or suggestions welcome. Jim

Re: Matchmove/VFX before or after speed change
Not sure it would really matter - I think Syntheyes just looks at each frame as a still image one after the other. Of course I'm probably wrong. Have you asked Russ? I bet he'd answer this
