After Effects multiple edits help...
Hi everyone.
I'm an After Effects noob, and was wondering how I work with multiple, individual effects in a rough edit of an entire short film? I have one track of video, and there are different green screen backgrounds I need to put in. Thank you. |

Kareem, your message doesn't make much sense. For people to help, you would need to spell out what you are trying to do more clearly. Also, it helps to know what version of After Effects you have and what editing program you are using; if it's Premiere the workflow might be fairly easy.
All that said, go over to Adobe TV and look up After Effects video/tutorials, especially on green screen keying. I believe they have one on Keylight, which is a great keyer, but is only in the pro version of AE. Also, for $25 to $30, you can dive into either VTC or Lynda.com, both have online training videos that can get you up and running fairly quickly. And even if you have AE CS4, the CS2 & 3 videos can have some great and more detailed info in them about certain topics, such as chroma keying. Good Luck. |
