real rookie question here
Hey all,
I am new to the AE world and i have a rookie question for all of you AEwarriors. In AECS3 I am trying to animate a piece of vector art (a pool ball that i am importing as an illustrator file). The problem that i am getting is when i attempt to animate the ball's rotation it becomes an egg like oval. Upon further inspection i see that this is the case with all art, even the preset shapes bundled with AE. Am i just missing something simple here? Thanks in advance, i know this is a real newbie problem. |

Are you sure you're working in square pixels? What is the video format of the rest of the composition?
Check that toggle icon in the composition window - it's a square with a double directional arrow above it - it toggles between viewing a non square pixel ratio composition as it really is and in its corrected form to the eye - a circle will appear correct with the compensated view on and egg shaped with it turned off Trish |

Yup! There it is!
Thanks so much! Blood pressure lowering...vision returning...rage subsiding. |
