What FX program for?
I'm looking for some similar graphics. Does anyone know what they might have used for this, or something that can produce similar. It's the overlay grafix I'm interested in.
Sights and Sounds Productions TIA

I assume you're talking about the video on the linked page. I only got thru about half of it but there wasn't anything in there that After Effects cannot do. Nothing really tricky in what I saw. It would take some time to do but AE would work.

Thanks Tripp, I have a non-upgradeable version of AE 6.5 but have rarely used it... I guess it's time to learn. It's a little clunky using Vegas 8.0 as my main NLE. I don't know how relevant 6.5 is these days since the intro of CS. I was looking on ebay and AE cs3 is still $800.00. I did see an upgradeable version of AE 7 in the classifieds I was thinking about...

I hope that AE 6.5 can understand HDV. Otherwise, you should be fine, by 6.5 you had '3D' inside AE as well. Keep in mind, that except for text and some background effects, AE doesn't do much to create images/content. It's really intended to move/alter/effect already created content.
