uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 quicktime from AE
I've done some work in AE exporting to an uncompressed 10-bit .avi,
I'm about to work on a project demanding the file to be delivered in 10-bit uncompressed quicktime file, however I dont have that codec option when I try to export it. regards

Go to Blackmagic site. They have a free download of codecs for AVI/MOV. One of them is a 10bit QuickTime format.
I haven't used it, but I have used other codecs of theirs for AVI/MOV and had no problems. You'll find it under their support page I believe. ...make sure the other person installs the codec on their box! l8r rob |

10 bit 4:2:2 codec for windows - PP2 & Vegas8
Hi, i have recently downloaded the balckmagic codec to be used with a system WITHOUT a blackmagic card. I have imported some video and eported to 10bit blackmagic codec with AE7. The bad news is that theres only 2 colors in the vidoe, pink & green!!
does anyone know the best 10bit 4:2:2 codec for editing/CC on windows with Premier2 or Vegas8? |
