Weird After Effects problem

I'm learning AE (CS3) and I'm having a strange problem where all of the AE windows periodically shift down and right about a quarter of an inch for about a second and then return to their normal position. If I'm accessing a menu at the time of the shift everything gets garbeled.

My system is pretty high end (Dual Zeon, 4 gigs ram and an EVGA 8800GTS graphics card.) This seems like a graphics card problem. I'm using the latest drivers. Has anything had this problem? Any ideas?

Thanks, Marc

hope you get an answer, I get a similar issue with illustrator, although AE is perfectly ok.

I would have a search, and update your graphics drivers to the latest versions?

Thanks Chris.

No answer yet and I am running the latest drivers. My next step will be to reinstall everything and then try using another graphics card.

Regards, Marc

You could try turning off adaptive resolution. This might help, but no promises.
