Audio lagging issue...
Hi,
Don't know exactly where to post this, but since I created the spot in After Effects, I thought I'd try here. I've created a 30-second spot that's cut to my music. There isn't any voice, just music with drums and the cuts happen on the drum beats. What's strange is that when I do a RAM preview in AE, it syncs up find. However, when I export the AVI, and play it in WMP, it lags about 2-4 frames or so. This is also noticeable IF I burn to DVD or if I create a .FLV to watch. However, playing the AVI in Premiere, it's SPOT ON. Any ideas? |

Hi James
I had audio sync issues in AE between RAM preview and a rendered file. Very frustrating. I tried adjusting AE's preview settings, re-installs etc etc. In the end it turned out that my Core 2 was overclocked just a bit too high. Once I lowered it a tad everything sync'ed up fine. Good luck |

that's a frustrating issue and has inspired a few tantrums on my part I assure you.
This is not your issue, but I recently ran into something like that when using xvid to compress an avi in VirtualDub. I found that if I changed the FourCC from DIVX to XVID the problem went away (and the blacks looked much deeper to boot!)
