Dn-60 - vicious circle
I have a camera SONY HVR-Z5E and a datavideo DN-60.
When I have a DV cassette in the camera and I press a red button for recording on the camera, recording is processing smoothly also to the DN-60 at the same time. However, when a cassette is not inserted in the camera, while the DN-60 is connected, then after a red button for recording on the camera is pressed, the camera displays, that a cassette is not inserted in the camera, and therefore recording to the DN-60 is not possible. Setting of the DN-60 (from "SYNC- TO TAPE TO "OFF" to "SYNC- TO TAPE TO "ON" and so on) NO WORKS !!!. I asked the SONY company, but they knew nothing about this. They said, that their Sony HVR-MRC1 on a camera worked, and invited me to buy this Sony HVR-MRC1, and it would certainly work. At DATAVIDEO said, that it should work. Am I really such a fool, that I am not able to set it to work? Is there anyone who would be able to write me down by steps, which settings are needed to set the DN-60 and the camera SONY HVR-Z5E? Or you just tell me, that this is not possible, forget it. And I will forget and not think about this anymore. Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards, Pino P. |
