nNovia QC analog audio headroom
I've noticed recently that the nNovia's ADC has a really short headroom at analog audio input - just around 4dB when other digital devices have at least 12. The nNovia recorder that I have clips all audio from -16dBfs and higher. This makes it very challenging to prevent audio peaks from being distorted while shooting.
Does anyone here use nNovia for analog recording and had that same problem. I've tried both 16bit 48kHz and 12bit 32kHz settings in the menu - same result. Is there anything else that I might be missing? Please help. PS Recording throuth the FireWire doesnt have that hard limiting issue at all. |

The issue has been resolved with the firmware upgrade.
