JVC Utility
I got the JVC GY-HMZ1U last week and I've been playing around with it a bit. I heard that JVC was going to release a utility that will convert (separate) the video so that it will work with Stereo 3D Toolbox. Anybody heard anything else about it?

Re: JVC Utility
Was it not included on a CD-ROM with the camera? It software is called "3D to LR Converter" and yes it will split the MVC MP4 files into separate left and right MP4 files, which can then be used directly in FCP X/Motion/After Effects with Stereo3D Toolbox LE. You can also transcode those MP4 into ProRes422/48Khz AIFF with Compressor for use in FCP 7.

Re: JVC Utility
I don't think it is downloadable. As far as I know it is exclusively bundled with the HMZ1, not the TD1.

Re: JVC Utility
I'm feeling a little dumb today. The disc was in the box. I was thinking that this was something that JVC would be coming out with later. I just installed it and will play with it tonight.

Re: JVC Utility
Would someone kindly send me the JVC 3D to LR utility for mac ? I dont have my CD anymore, and no backups :-(
Even if I get the windows version I could use bootcamp to get it to work.
