Yes, I just met Tim Dashwood at NAB and saw a demo. There is also a demo on stereo3dtoolbox web site. It is at beta level and will be released soon.

Actually there are a lot of improvements and enhancements, such as keystoning correction, coarse and fine slider adjustments, sub-pixel adjustments, etc. I don't know that there is a specific document listing the improvements. It maybe best to download the demo version and see it.

I'm sorry I've been off the grid for so many days. The response at NAB was overwhelming and I'll probably still be responding to requests for another two weeks.
We have two new products, Stereo3D Toolbox LE and Stereo3D Toolbox v2.0 suite. We are also working on some other applications that we previewed at NAB. More on those later. In the meantime here are some of the details of the new plugins (all subject to change during the beta testing phase): Stereo3D Toolbox™ LE (single plug-in filter designed for beginners & hobbyists) Available Soon for $99
Stereo3D Toolbox™ v2 (full suite of plug-in filters & generators) Public Beta available for download from stereo3Dtoolbox.com Price still TBD. Included plug-in filters & generators for FCP, Motion & After Effects:

I took a stereo clip of Tim and Stereo3D Toolbox Co. exhibit at NAB 2010, together with the new Panasonic 3D camcorder they had in their space. Some of you might be interested. After all, he is the moderator of this forum and father of one of the coolest 3D post-processing S/W around. I apologize for the poor quality. The lights, contrast and crowds were tough to deal with, it was like taking video in a cave without any light control. I recommend either dedicated 3D display or cross-eye viewing, but have included anaglyph as well. YouTube version is here: YouTube - CES 2010 Exhibits - Stereo3D Toolbox v2, Panasonic 3D Camcorder, etc - 3D HD Stereoscopic and Vimeo here:

Thanks, Pavle. Speaking for myself, I certainly appreciate all those informative 3D videos you make.

Dekuji Adame. I appreciate the feedback. I figure that some people don't have the good fortune to attend these shows and it is interesting to get a different angle of view than what comes from the official media, so I am posting my amateurish videos to satisfy some interests. It is good to hear that it provides what it was intended to do. Thanks.

Quick question to you guys. Is it o.k. to have both the original version of the Stereo3D Toolbox as well as the Version 2 co-resident with the Final Cut without any issues? Thanks.

Hi Pavel,
The v2.0 beta will not overwrite your existing v1.1 install. However FxFactory may give you a warning that both exist. They will show up in separate folders in your effects list. When the upgrade is released and installed the original v1.1 will be made invisible but still exist for backwards compatibility with older projects. The current beta testers will then have to remove the beta version.

Actually, Huston, I have a problem. The V2.0 DID replace the 1.1 and it will not load at all now. I get an error message that" The effects cannot be loaded ...". I am on FCE, maybe that's it. Can someone let me know how to get back? Thanks.

One other person mentioned this and I'm trying to figure out why it is happening for some people. Did you run the FxFactory 2.1.5 installer before installing the beta?
If you have overwritten the old version the fix is to just rerun the FxFactory 2.1.5 installer and it will re-install v1.1
