Introducing Apollo Anne

Dear Friends,

Our friends created some funny, but informative videos featuring Apollo Anne and Sad Sack Sam, two Muppet type characters.

I hope you find these interesting as these are short and to the point.

.............. "Bloggin Blues"

............. "Easy Editing"

.............. "In the Car"

Respectfully,

Re: Introducing Apollo Anne

Dear Friends,

If one is shooting professionally or for one's own personal use, one can certainly increase the production value of your projects by recording from multiple cameras. This can make your footage much more interesting to watch.

But, more importantly, it makes shooting these projects less stressful and it makes it much easier.

When shooting continuously at any event, be it a wedding, or corporate event, music video, or conference, one can't always nail the focus, especially if one cannot control the event.

But, if you have at least one additional camera, then you have another camera angle to use, either to correct for focus/framing problems, or just to add interest to your videos.

Another case is when one is panning or even when one it shooting without panning, sometimes someone, or something is distracting in the scene.

But, if you record multiple camera angles, then you can use them to your advantage, so you do not have to reply solely on one camera's footage.

-------------

Many use the very popular small Point of View ( POV) cameras for multiple camera shoots.

When using these cameras, you can save yourself a lot of stress by using our Apollo.

One of our friends told us when he shot with multiple cameras, it was very stressful for him.

He was frequently checking on each of the POV cameras:

1. Have any of the POV cameras run out of battery power?

2. Have any of the POV cameras run out of media?

3. Have any of the POV cameras been bumped or moved?

4. Do the POV cameras still point to the desired scene?

5. And one has to (typically) start and stop each POV camera individually.

Using an Apollo or Odyssey7Q/Odyssey7Q+ with the Apollo Option, allows one to see the POV cameras' images from one central location (if cabling or wireless permits).

Then, one knows that each of the cameras is still powered on, and still pointed/positioned correctly, and one does not need to worry if the media is full, as one can now record in the Apollo.

And all of the issues with recording in-camera are resolved.

One starts/stops the recordings centrally, and all of the cameras have exactly the same filename (except for the extension which denotes the camera angle).

All of the footage has the same timecode, and all start on exactly the same frame, and all are in perfect sync.

When done, all of the footage is on one SSD, in a high-quality, easy to use codec,

One does not need to retrieve the small media cards from each POV camera, then upload these individually, and (typically) transcode/process the footage to a more popular codec.

-------------------------

The above videos are attempting, in a funny way, to present some pertinent points.

Bloggin’ Blues

Raise the quality of your blog videos with Apollo. Multiple camera angles add visual

interest as well as help illustrate whatever you present. A computer with an HDMI

output can be another signal you feed into Apollo to show graphics or other

information. By intercutting live on Apollo’s touchscreen, post work is minimized or

eliminated, allowing you to make better videos with less effort.

Easy Editing

Skip the drudgery of organizing material and get right to the meaningful work of

editing with Apollo. By recording all of your cameras directly on Apollo, all the

material have matching filenames and are in perfect sync. Load into your edit

system in one step linked as a multi-camera group and you’re instantly editing. No

more searching/renaming/syncing/restriping timecode.

In the Car

Make sure all of your shots are recorded, have all your timecode and filenames

matched, put all your footage to a single high capacity SSD recording to a high

quality codec. No more crossing your fingers hoping for the best with multi-camera

car rig shooting. Feed everything to Apollo for peace of mind and ease of work.

Apollo will even output a Quad-Split view you can feed to a video transmitter to

monitor your shoot.

Respectfully,,
