Will the 7Q+ support Nikon DSLR cameras
I just got a D750 and have pre-orderd the D500.
When I use my old Ninja II (1080P30) to record from the D750 HDMI port the video is clear and sharp. Using the same settings with the 7Q+ gives me Video that looks like it was shot in the fog. Using 1080P60 is marginally better. The only available setting seems to be "other" for choice of camera. Should I choose some other source? Will you support 4k DownRes from the D500 to 1080P30 like you do with the A7s? Has anyone here gotten any Nikon to work properly with the 7Q+ ? |

Re: Will the 7Q+ support Nikon DSLR cameras
Dear Roger,
If any camera, including all Nikons, output an industry standard HD, Ultra-HD or 4K Image, over HDMI, at the proper resolution and frame rate, the Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+ should support it fine. Of course, it is always better if the camera can output a clean image, without viewfinder data, over HDMI. Since you are not seeing perfect results, please contact our main office support number: seven two zero --- two two one ---- three eight seven six ( in the United States, in Colorado Springs, Colorado) Our support team will be happy to assist you. We have certain DSLR's in our lab, but we just do not have all of the Nikon models. The Nikon D810 is widely used with our Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+. Respectfully,

Re: Will the 7Q+ support Nikon DSLR cameras
I returned the D750 because of my results and also because of the poor AF performance when shooting Video
The D500 will be much better or suffer the same fate |
